Rappelling Clinics for Adults, Youth and Troop Leadership Sponsored by:

 What: Rappelling Clinic - A weekend training clinic combining rappelling
 skills with fun and fellowship.    
 
Rappel Master - An individual who is qualified to lead his unit on a
 
rappelling outing.
A Rappel Master will be required to file a permit for
 rappelling.
 
How: To be qualified as a Rappel Master, an individual must pass both the
 basic and intern portions of the program.  This will require at least two
 weekends.  There are exceptions.
 Who: For adults, Scouts (14 and older) & troop leadership of Simon Kenton
 Council.
 
Where: Camp Falling Rock, Licking County, Ohio
 
When: Friday evening through Sunday afternoon.  We will meet at Camp
 Falling Rock between 7:00 and 7:30 P.M. at the dining hall.  Prompt
 arrival appreciated.
 
Why: The objectives of the Rappelling Clinic are two-fold:
  1) To help young Scouts and novices learn
safe and proper rappelling
 techniques.
  2) To qualify the more experienced participants as Rappel Masters   
Cost:  Depends upon
1) if you are a first time attendee, a non registered
 Scout or Scouter  or  
2) a returning attendee as a registered Scout or
 Scouter or a RappellMaster.

 appropriate year for current prices. The cost includes food, lodging,
 program materials and equipment. Each "first time" participant will
 receive a locking D-ring, 65 page Rappelling Course Manual, 18 foot
 section of webbing, a patch, and a 5 and 9 foot of prussic line.   
 Pre-register at least one week ahead to get the discount in price.  
 Registration: Registration for the Rappelling Clinic can only be made by
 returning the sign up/registration sheet (please duplicate as needed) and
